Hope For Life Conference - Boston
We are excited to invite our high school kids to this special conference run by the Archdiocese of Boston as we honor the sanctity and the beauty of life from the womb to the tomb, and embrace the virtue of hope in all circumstances of every age and stage of life. Jonathan Roumie, the actor who plays Jesus on The Chosen will be giving the keynote!! 

Event Details

• Saturday Oct 4th
• At the TRACK at New Balance in Brighton, MA
• FREE for high school students
• Transportation will be provided to/from the event (depart St Mary parking lot at 6:30AM and return at 5:30PM)
• Our group will be accompanied by adult chaperones from St Mary Youth Ministry and parish staff, so students will be well supported and cared for throughout the trip

Bible Study
This Bible study is open to all students, whether you’re brand new to the Bible or have been reading it for years. Each week stands on its own, so you can drop in anytime, and you’ll find it both accessible and engaging, with something meaningful for everyone.

A weekly preview of Sunday’s gospel reading. We’ll give you a quick summary and a reflection question from Father Nick to help you connect the Word of God to your everyday life. Think of it as a way to go into Mass, ready, knowing what Jesus is about to say to you.

Eucharistic Adoration
A time to simply be with Jesus in the Eucharist - quietly sitting, praying or just resting in his presence. If you’ve never been before, don’t worry!! You don’t need to know anything ahead of time - just come as you are and spend some time with God. But if you want to learn more about it, you can check out this short video on YouTube to see what it’s all about. 
When - Every Wednesday from 3-6 (note: you can drop in at any time and you don’t need to attend the full three hours in adoration - the last half hour or so is called the Benediction - that’s when the Priest blesses the people and traditional prayers and hymns are sung)

Who - Open to the whole congregation. Bring your friends and family!

St Mary University - Influential Catholic Voices
An introduction to the influential figures in the Catholic tradition. This course will provide an introductory reading of the Church Fathers and Doctors, and a study of the lives of saints and blesseds. In addition, we will seek to grow in our understanding of some of the great schools of spiritual theology and spiritual masters. This will be accomplished through an introductory discussion in each session of the particular figures and their contexts, followed by a guided reading of primary source texts.
When - 5 sessions (9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3) from 6:30-8:00pm

Who - Open to the whole congregation. Bring your friends and family!

Chosen
We’re starting a weekly virtual watch party for The Chosen, the hit series about the life of Jesus and his disciples. Each week we’ll watch one episode (starting from the beginning) and then keep the conversation going in our WhatsApp community - sharing thoughts, questions and takeaways. It’s a fun and meaningful way to grow in faith and see the Gospel come to life.
